I'm headed there to shoot and blog on a point to point horse endurance competition, in country from the 9th-20th. Dependent on others for transportation, though. The competition goes from roughly east to the ocean in 8 stages, with a rest day in the middle and then back inland a little to Rocío. An adventure! Trying to cram Spanish in my old brain, though it seems to be helping to have a vocabulary from living in California most of my life!

I spent some time in Andalcia a few years ago, but it doesn't look like you're going to be in the area I was. The picture below is the cathedral in Cadiz, which is an interesting little town,originally Roman (Cades), and the site of the battle of Trafalger, or more acurately, where most of the fleet is now.

If you get a chance to swing through there, it's worth a bit of time.

Thanks, Dave, that is just beautiful. You sure have a wonderful base for travel, let's see some more! I'd like to have a 17-40 for the trip, but I'll be enough of a pack mule as it is, lugging gear.
