...feedback!

This was the original, which was my first challenge entry. I think I got a bit too excited about this fact, and definitely didn't finish it properly.

These are the updates I've played with - I'd love some more feedback on them!

I think I personally like this photo because it's a little different, it's got an interesting perspective, and I love the colour of the ocean.

Thanks so much for any comments/feedback you can offer!

- Ingrid

P.S. Oh, and this is the original, just so you can get an idea of how I've played with it :)

Sure thing - how do I do that? When I tried to do it as per the tutorial, it only showed up as a link...

The images each have an ID number - For example the first image that you have is 496313. When you want to upload images -
1. copy the image number from the address bar in your browser
2. click on the thumbnail button on the message tool bar (the second from the right)
3. paste the image ID number ONLY (not the string for its location) in the dialog box
4. hit return

Do this for each image and you should be all set. You can go back into an old message you sent and fix them so only the thumbs show.

click the thumbnail icon above text field you are writing your text in and just enter the IMAGE_ID number in the field, exactly as the message that appears says. the thumbnail icon is the one with two little squares or when you hold your mouse over it shows this text "Insert Thumbnail Link to Site Image"

okay?

The first 'reprocess' is much better than the original entry. The sharpness and contrast on the entry was not very solid and really seemed rather ordinary. The reprocessing you did to bring out the water and reef more clearly helps this image a great deal.

However, I really would have only given this a 5 or 6. The composition is pretty nice and the textures are pretty good but nothing specifically really draws me into the image.

Thank you for the comments, I really appreciate it.

I think maybe I like this image personally because it's a bit different, but 'different' isn't everyone's cup of tea :P
