I saw this tripod on ebay. What do you think? How much I should pay for this? |

Since you can get it for $89 from their website I'd say... $60? |

I own this tripod, or at least one almost identical. I bought it from the same company (amvona.com) on ebay, and the one i have is also dynatran and looks identical. I'm not sure if the model is exactly the same.
I really like the tripod a lot. It was an upgrade from a cheap $40 canon tripod from B&H and it is drastically different. It's very heavy duty, and therefore, also very heavy. But with that said, my 30D with a 70-210 f/2.8, 430ex flash, and lighsphere on the flash don't come close to making the thing shiver, even on a windy day. I'd recommend it is as great tripod for studio work or a great all-around tripod. As long as you don't mind the weight. |

Thanks for the feedback, I ordered the same from the same company but the bid was ended at $1.26 + shipping ($16). so at the end I will be paying $17.26, I guess its a nice deal, right?? |

Tripod and head that you're happy with is an excellent deal for <$20. |

I was tripod shopping for a long time... and asking a lot of questions. I decided that the Bogen 3021 Pro was the tripod I wanted. If you read all of the tripod threads this one will be most recommended. I watched ebay for months. Finally, I purchased an older model 3021 Pro with a Bogen 3047 head (just the one I wanted) for $110. Just giving you an alternative idea and price-paid.

I bought a Dynatran "pro" tripod and monopod last year and I'm very happy with them both (under $90 for the tripod and under $40 for the monopod).
Very solid performance, good head action and strength, bit heavy though.
I've played with Bogens and Sliks at the camera store and while it's true they're somewhat nicer, these Dynatrans are the best bang for the buck. |

I was just looking at that tripod yesterday. I'd love to know what you think about it when it comes in. |

I received the tripod, from the initial look and feel, it is really good :). I tried to take couple of shots in different head position and it worked as expected. As other said, I also agree that it is looking promising. |
