Hi,
My new dSLR got here last week and I've been shooting away. I'll join up here when I think I'm up to scratch.
Meanwhile, if you'd like to see what I've been up to, hop over to my blog, which you don't have to read, just scroll down 'til you find the photos and let me know what you reckon. All are RAW conversions, which I've post-processed a wee bit - I'm still learning. My camera is stuck in RAW mode..well, just about!
Boy, do I love dSLRs.
Cheers,
Alex
Edit - Title should have been 'First shots with dSLR'.

Thanks for looking Becky and for the positive feedback. I'm having lots of fun with this thing!
You should have seen my fist shots. Dire is not the word! It's very easy to take dud shots with these things. I've already taken over 300 pics, but I've been bracketing and shooting 3 shot bursts. Just getting the hang of the thing and the DPP Canon software.
I'm happy that I just got a body and got a half decent lens to kick off.

Thanks Lori,
These things are a little daunting at first, but the 'pain' is more than worthwhile. The results you can get are jaw dropping, as I know from hunting aound DPC!
