Now that WPL has been integrated into the site, it no longer really classifies as a side tournament. Even if that point is debatable, there's so much activity in the Side Tournaments & Challenges forum that it nearly drowns out everything else in there. It really deserves its own dedicated forum. That way, those of us who aren't following WPL can put the forum on the front page ignore list without losing sight of the non-competitive stuff like 30 day self-portraits and whatnot.

Besides apparently u missed this too.
Nothing changes till the next season as far as i know, but it will change as far as i know.

They fill up the front page of the forums, I prefer to ignore them and free up space for other threads and I am sure a lot of other people prefer that as well.

You can actually tell it to not show ALL of the threads int he forum "Side Challenges and Tournaments."
That solves it real quick. Same thing you'd have todo with the new forums too.
The setting is somewher eunder preferences but it lets you turn off certain forums so u dont see any threads on the bottom.
By default rant is turned off.

If you must ignore them go to MyHome> MyPreferences and under Forum/Discussion Preferences go down to Forum filter and click on link.
A box will appear, un-check "Side Challenges and Tournaments" and you will not have to keep ignoring individual threads.

The problem with that is it blocks ALL side challenge threads -- not just WPL/DPL ones.

I don't want to ignore that entire forum!!! I often take part in side challenges and want to see those threads, just not the WPL ones.

Sure, that would be great, if I weren't interested in keeping up with the 30 day self-portraits or whatever else is going on in there. I don't want to ignore the entire forum - just the barrage of WPL threads.

I think the DPL should be taken out of the "Side Challenges and Tournaments" forum and given it's own since it is a part of the site now (or soon will be). All threads including team threads could be under that forum and people could turn it off without effecting the "Side Challenges and Tournaments" such as 30-day self-portraits, and others.
