Well done to the Admins for adding the Thumbs forum code not long ago. Excellent idea!
Now that it's available though, seeing a full screen DPC image appear in a forum post just makes me cringe.
Not sure if it's possible, but how about setting some code behind the scenes which will check an image tag, and if it is a DPC-stored image, it uses the Thumb code instead of the image code?

Something like that, or that will turn the image into a text-only link, is already in the pool of suggestions under consideration.
If you search the forums, I believe someone recently posted a (link to?) instructions for a user-side script or something which might do the same thing. |
