My first few months at DPC have been a blast! I cannot believe the talent and creativity that is here in one spot. I so enjoy voting on the entries in the challenges. The wide array of photos, the view in to your mind's eye is exceptional!
Unfortunately, my average has dipped below 5.0. However, I finally have been chosen as a favorite photographer and had a photo chosen as a favorite by a very kind person here! I'm not whining about it, just realizing some things.
I continue to learn that:
- I know absolutely nothing about post-processing.
- while I have an eye for photography, I need to devote more time to taking the right picture for challenges and not just submit a photo to see how it does.
- I must comment on more photos because that is really what we all want after all! :)
Thank you all for continuing to amaze and delight me!

Glad you're having fun, Beth. You're off to a great start and sounds like you have a great attitude to match. That will take you far. :D

| I'll have to agreee with you about this being a great place to learn. I have been taking pictures for 25 years but the last couple have been the most educational by far because of dpc and the internet. I encourage you to increase your commenting as you learn so much this way. |

I'm glad you can see that you can see all of those things and not quit. I think there are many including myself that can learn from your words and your attitude.
