Thank you to all for your kind and helpful comments on my challenge entry, "L'odore di un'arancia".
I had a lot of fun doing it and it took me days to get all the sticky orange juice off all my studio props!
And, thank you for no 1's! yahoo

JC, what does your title mean?
I didn't vote on your image because I didn't understand the significance of an orange sitting on a rock. I abstained from voting on your image because I figured maybe the answer was in the title.
Congrats on no 1's; that is definitely an accomplishment! If I had given you a 5 I could have been in 8th place!  (I actually computed the numbers, and one more 5 vote would have given you a 6.613.)

hmmm, one more 5 is all it would have taken.. well I think I'll put more of my titles in Italian then EddyG!
I used the rock for contrasting colour. I also thought it did mirror the texture in the orange rind somewhat also.
