I just ordered the canon 85mm f1.8 lens, along with a remote and a battery grip.
I'm shooting a play next week and this gave me the excuse to go ahead and buy the lens and the battery grip.
the UPS man should be here by the end of the week... the wait is going to kill me.

I ordered a 50mm 1.8 last week and it arrived on Monday :D
The problem is I'm not at home till possibly the weekend after next :(

I never understood why people made such a big deal about the 50mm 1.8 UNTIL I got my own. OMG. I got it for Christmas, but only I've been using it as my walking around lens since Australia. OMG, OMG, OMG.
Should I be seeking professional help for my affliction? |

I love it! with I first stuck it on the camera I thought it was broken because I couldn't hear it focus, then I realized that it was simply that quiet.
