Just curious if anyone would be willing to divulge some figures here.

Basically wondering if the prints sell regularly and if it's worth the time and cost of membership.

Thanks.

The prints side of things isn't worth the cost of membership, but the other benefits, like the portfolio, access to members-only forums, and the addictive update button, totally are.

Other-Artist Referral Profit : $7.09
Total Profit : $314.82

Thats since 2003 with no promotion from me, and I haven't added any new prints for a while. So its worth it here :)

Yes, but Ben, you're a freak really outstanding photographer who's extremely well known here on DPC.

I've had several photos up for sale for about 6 months. Total sales: 4. Total profit: $15.

Edited to add: Shane, you're already a paid member of DPC. DPCPrints comes with that membership, so you might as well put some prints up for sale. It costs you nothing but a little time.

By the way, el freako over there Ben has an excellent tutorial on resizing and prepping stuff for DPCPrints.

Actually, my membership expires in a couple of weeks and I've been going back and forth about whether to renew. I'm trying to save money to move to BC and I rarely participate in the challenges.

That being said, the challenges I usually participate in, if any, are the member challenges. I was hoping some input on here could help me decide.

$13.59 in almost 2 years. Not worth the cost of membership, but the rest of the site sure is. Although it is a really great feeling to sell your work... =]

About $302 for me in 3 years. Still have $90 some in there. Always use it to renew my membership.

My goodness!!! What are all you people doing to make so much money on DPCPrints???

That's awesome! I thought I was doing pretty good with the near $25 I've made so far. But $300 really blows that out of the water!! Way to go!

I have 25 prints for sell and I try to price them low so I don't make much profit. I have had sales but I seem to use the money to order prints. View my signature area below and you will see why I upload pictures to DPC Prints. Thanks go out to the users that have purchased and viewed my prints.

Only one sale in two years, and that print is no longer available. Anyway, I do like to see the figures of views. My NY City has received nearly 400 views. As to sales, I am trying a different approach. I am going on the assumption that there may be some frame companies or businesses that look at the images, so I am trying to post prints that will work commercially. I hope once I have extracted the ones that I think might work from that perspective, that I might see a few sales, but I won't hold my breath.

Top this. $1.86! Call me Captain Enterprise.

$133.31 in about 3 years. Almost half of that was from that drive we did to raise money for Katrina victims.
