How do you shoot IR with a rebel?

I think that you are losing some of the sharpness/detail in the first and last one. The middle one looks nice though

I shoot IR w/ my 300D. I had it converted to IR...

o, i guess i am confused

I thought that you could shoot IR in camera.
Maybe im just wrong

It is done in camera. My camera is converted to IR only. I had the high pass filter over the sensor changed to a clear filter so I get IR w/ the settings of a regular camera.

i really like the first 2.
they are exactly what i would like get myself.

i really have to get my 350d converted as well.

i was unaware, how much does something like that cost?

you can check out lightpixel.com, they do it.

I had a local shop do the labor and I bought the filter myself from light pixel. I think I saved a few bucks.

Filter is $95 and labor is usually around $200-$300. Mine was $350 total w/ filter.
