Well I went out yesterday morning at 5:30am dove a few km out side the city in hopes to shoot the morning sunrise. Any way I was trying to shoot a sort of time lapse of the sun rise and to say the least it was challenging, I had the camera on manual mode and using the remote utility on my laptop which I ended up shooting at every 15 seconds and only 5 shots a a time then I would have to stop and increase the shutter speed. I did try the auto no-flash mode and it was just blowing out the horizon thus why I went to manual. Anyway what I'm getting at is I have seen some great time lapse videos done with still cameras and was just curious on how they do it as far as camera settings go like F/stop and shutter speeds what modes they mite use... I may post the results of my shoot from yesterday depending on how embarrassing it turns out :P

Thanks in advance,

-dave
