You guys that shoot in RAW mode, do you fix your picture in raw mode, or change them to tiff and do all of your post processing.
Please Help, Thanks, Jeremy |

most of the color correction, exposure adjustments, levels and curves, etc. can be done in the RAW conversion software. at least raw shooter pro and adobe light room. after that any kind editing that needs layers or masks is done on the exported TIFF file.

I let the raw converter do as much as possible. I never edit "proofs", they are posted on my web site straight out of the raw converter.
For 8x10 and smaller, I just edit the proofs directly.
For 11x14 and larger, I'll re-process the image as a tiff file and start my editing there.
All edits as saved as PhotoShop .PSD files with intact layers so that later modifications are possible without any degradation in quality.

The main answer is: it depends
In general I do most of the processing in the raw converter (Adobe Lightroom) and then just minor adjustments in PS. With difficult images I will try several things.
How much you do in the raw converter will depend on the converter itself and how well it handles the images you are processing.

the only thing I do in the raw-converter is adjusting the whitebalance and (if necessary) adjust the exposure a bit (I don't use a light meter in the studio)
the rest I will do in PS and save as a psd. I don't use tiff or whatever, too complicated ;) |
