Hey all,

I have re-vamped my WEBSITE to make the gallery section look a litle bit more "Swish". Found a free "Flash" Gallery Creator called "Porta" which is dead easy to use and seems to work quite well.

Would like to know what you think of it, Good or bad!

Thanks,
AL.

Dump the frames. The menu text is not clear because it's an image and at the wrong size. I'd also think about moving pricing up to the main navigation menu. Just curious but why Porta and Simpleviewer rather than just Simpleviewer? Since you're in the UK it doesn't matter but most Americans will think you've misspelled "utilizes" and "JavaScript".

I just downloaded a Gallery creator which I liked...

I am going to do some more work on the navigation menu etc and possibly remove the frames as many comment that they dont like them.

Thanks,
AL.

I have removed part of the frames element and changed the navigation menu to text rather than images.

I think it looks a lot cleaner now.

Comments welcomed, as always...

Yes, much better now. I still would encourage not using frames because if somebody comes in through one of the //freespace.virgin.net/ URLs then they will lose the navigation unless you add a script to check and add back in the frames.

Yeah - You lost me now!!! I'm not that good with the whole webmaster thing...

I understand what you mean though, but how many people are likely to find it that way?
Most of the visitors to my site will either follow a link from a forum or e-mail etc, or manually type the address from a business card or something? If you try and google me you either get DPC or my Photobox gallery (both of which have links directly to my site, or you get my site address itself.
