I love the composition of all the shots but find the light areas way too bright and the shadow a little too dark. Like the soft feel to the first one. |

I left some comments on the images. They work well as BW, but be wary of your histogram. Overall, they are all very contrasty images. They all have significantly blown highlights. Also check the black levels on the groom. It looks like the image doesn't go to a full black anywhere. It may need some detailed curves adjustments, or manual dodge/burn to get a good result.
Also, with the high contrast ranges, it will be worth getting some prints made early in the editing process to check the range of the printing process, and how it compares to what you see on your monitor.
I also checked out the 2 colour images in your folio. If you are using the portrait settings on your 350, you could try pushing the saturation a little in the processing. The portrait setting mutes the colours a lot, and pushing the saturation can boost the image. Watch the skin tones though so that they stay realistic.
