My son took a trip to England this past summer and bought me a photo by a photographer named Burgess.

We are very much interested in obtaining additional copies.

I searched the internet for the Photographers name and came up with no results.

We have the information and the location where the photo was purchased. We were wondering if anyone who lived near there may be interested in obtaining additional copies for us?

If you want you may email me with any questions or details.

Thanks in advance;

Calvus

Does anyone live close Stonehenge?

If depends what you mean by close. I live about an hour and a half away from Stonehenge.

The photo he bought was of Stonehenge and the Comet Hale-Bopp.
He said he bought it at Stonehenge.
I have the Photographers name and number also.
Jim Burgess +44 (0) 1202 896639

I thought if someone lived close enough I could send them a Money order or cashiers check and have them pick up the additional photos and mail them to me.

But it appears that you may be to far away.

I'm sure he'd be more than happy to arrange this with you via post personally, wouldn't he? I expect that he would be honoured that someone as far away as Texas appreciates his work and wants more of it :)

I think it would take to long to communicate with him via the Postal Service (Snail Mail) and I really didn't want to pay the long distance call, but it appears I may have to.

I was thinking of getting them before Xmas.

Thanks for your help.

Maybe someone else lives near him.

Just wanted to let others know:

We contacted the Photographer and have got all the information needed.

The problem is:

He says the bank is charging him almost $20.00 per check/money order for conversion to Lbs Sterling.

So I guess we need to go to one of the larger local banks and obtain a check/money order in lbs. Sterling.

I guess this does become a problem when you are working on your own and do not accept credit cards which will do the conversion for you.

maybe he uses paypal, and could email a printable file to you - or post it on the web for you to download

that would be quick and cheap... maybe

LOL

He said they had moved recently and his computer was not setup.

And he also said his younger daughter new more about the computer than
he did!

I told him he needed to get his work on the internet.

He said he had become quite famous for his recent photographs of Stonehenge and Comet Hale-Bopp, The Eclipse and Mars. Said he has had call from all over the world trying to get more copies.

But I think are cameras will be outdated before he gets on the internet by the sounds of it :)
