i like the top five spot ..really!

BUT lost 27 votes .. 15% of my total votes in the vote scrubbing
& ended with a score that was lower that it was the entire voting period

i would like to suggest that real time vote statistics is fine
but votes shouldn't reflect in a pictures results till the person has voted more than 20% (+n) of the total ...

that way assuring that only votes reflected are the real votes & skewed votes

I must be tired because I read and reread your comment and still have no clue about what you are talking about.

I think what he is saying is his score dramatically changed for the worse when the scrubber went through.

Correct me if I am wrong Ralph.

i lost 27 votes from 'vote scrubbing' - votes that are removed because people did NOT vote the required 20% of the total num. of entries .
these are reflected in your score but are removed at turn over

i'm suggesting no one votes should be reflected till they vote at least 20% plus a bit ..

(granted some of the 27 may have been skew votes but i bet the bulk were cherry picking pictures from thumbnails )

The scrubber is the program that keeps track of the amount of votes people have done and erratic voting either for good or bad. These scores are removed from your actual average at the final tally and your new score is calculated without them.

Thanks for clarifying. Didn't think about what happens when people dont fulfill the vote requirement. Does your votes number decrease too? I've never seen my vote number go down but have seen my score go down, I thought from people going back and adjusting their vote.

Yes the final tally of votes will show a lower number if there have been votes removed, most always you will see votes removed.( at least this is what I was led to believe)

I would vote for this change. It makes good sense that votes only reflect in the stats once the voter hits 20% plus. That way the cherry picker voters will not influence things too much. On the last challenge I also lost quite a bit in score after rollover so I am sensitive to this problem... :)

Once a voter hits 20% and their votes reflect in the stats, if they revise their votes later on, then that should reflect too, good or bad.
