I'm looking for a new camera and thought that all the knowledgeable people here might be able to help me.

Firstly, before anyone suggests a DSLR, this isn't a camera for me, I already have a D70 and 5D with a pile of lenses for both.

What I am looking for is some cameras to replace the really old crappy dinosaurs that we are using at my new job - Canon Dinosaur A20 - I'm an environmental health officer (which is code for Health Inspector) and spend a lot of time checking out dirty kitchens.

I need a smallish, portable camera with as wide a lens as possible so that I can take photos in small kitchen areas - also need a decent flash and a close focusing distance. Zoom isn't really needed and MP doesn't matter either. Price is a factor though seeing as we need 5-6 cameras and don't really have enough money for them, so the lower the better.
