I am interested in peopleâs opinion of how the background interacts with the image as a whole:

Some of you will immediately recognise the bokeh and the type of lens it is from, a mirror. It seems that people automatically condemn any such bokeh out of hand. However I bought this lens in full knowledge of this characteristic and I want to learn how, or at least try, to use this âfeatureâ as a unique advantage (yes Iâm weird!). It is a characteristic that can be tamed, as in this image
but to me that is a cop-out (ok, Iâm a masochist too). Iâm not interested in the bokeh, as such, Iâm just curious of how people think the background interacts with the image. I can then go on and experiment with this lens and see what I can do with it. It is an oddly versatile lens that I have a few ideas for.
