I read the minimal editing rules and my question is about this rule:
sharpen your entry using your editing software’s “sharpen” or equivalent option. The use of customizable sharpening tools, such as Unsharp Mask, is not allowed.
Does this mean that sharpening outside the camera is allowed as long as it is done with the software that came with the camera?
Thanks

As long as you just press "Sharpen" and that's it... then yes.

you can use any software you like. you just need to use the general "sharpen" feature. YOu can't use anything that is customizable. |

So in the canon software, seeing it has a slide bar, that makes it illegal?
Thanks for the help.
