i was takeing Pictures of the sky the other day, and once on pc screen i noticed small dark blothches on parts of the picture BOOO!

what is it? Dust?

how do i get rid :')

Okay you might need to clean your sensor.
DO NOT RUSH AND OPEN THE CAMERA.

Id start with a can of air. AIR not flamable chemical.They make kits for doign this too, read up look around. We have had people scratch their sensors because they didnt follow directions or tried to rig something.

EDIT - Some people recommend against canned air hit up that link in the post below.

Lots of people use the CopperHill cleaning systems, works well for me.

I've done the swab-with-special-fluid method a few times now, no problemo. I screwed up the first time and left streaks, but I fashioned a little custom-scrubber and went to town on that sucker.

I suppose it's good to be careful. I was pretty darn rough each time I've cleaned my sensor and it's cleaner now then when I bought it.

I even left a pool of fluid on it and then took the test shot once.
