Not sure how to explain. I have had this problem for a long time but this is the first time I thought to ask. On the advise of a web page I visited once I set my camera settings (rebel XT) under parameters to 0 shown on the display as the middle notch for all settings and set the camera raw defaults in (camera raw) to Exposure 0.00, shadows 5, brightness +50, contrast +25 and saturation 0
Ok I shoot in RAW and when I look at my display after makeing what ever adjustments like adjusting my lighting or apeture the pics look the way I want them, but when I open them in camera raw or even the thumbs in bridge are so much darker / underexposed. Is there a way to calibrate this? Or do I just have to make changes to the default RAW settings while looking at my camera disply to get them as close as I can?
Thanks for your time.. |

Usually you would ignore the LCD and trust the histograms. However, you might find it useful to reduce the brightness of the LCD. |
