I pity da fool who ain't going to be in Cozumel starting this Friday!
Scuba diving in 80-degree water in one of the best dive destinations in the world, margaritas on white sand beaches, good food, good friends, and fun.
I'll buy drinks for any DPC people that want to meet up. And, if you go diving with us, I may even show you how to do the Warhammer Maneuver.
I̢۪ll even let you take photos of me in my sexy bathing suit.
If you can’t make it, wellâ€Â¦ then I guess it sucks to be you. :D

Mick, you're just evil, you know that?
Fortunately unlike many of the poor slobs masses of DPCers enduring a Snowy Easter, I too will be going to a warmer climate for this cold weekend! Ft. Lauderdale here I come!

I know, I know... Offering to let people take free photos of me in my sexy bathing suit is just too tantalizing.

I've always wanted to go to Florida, but I've never had the chance. I hear they have some pretty awesome diving there too. Some day, I hope.
Have fun!

I'm going to have to spring the cash for custom goggles and get myself certified. I'd love to be able to go diving a couple times a year. |

I'll pass on the diving. Not because I don't like the water or anything, but I'd probably find myself spending just enough time at Carlos & Charlie's to rule that out for later.
Just yesterday I was telling some friends about being in Cozumel, and how I felt the urgent need to try out my high school Spanish memory, even though everyone in town spoke English just fine ("Donde esta el banyo!?")
I have some rather interesting videotape from that experience.

You can buy a mask with custom optical lenses for a reasonable price.
Check this out: Masks w/ Optical Lenses
Open Water certification courses are offered at most dive shops. They're not too expensive, and you'll have a blast. The gear is what really cost$, if you buy your own. You can rent very cheaply, but if you get hooked on diving, you will be buying your own. :D
If you have questions, PM me. You can also sign up at Scubaboard.com. Lots n' lots of helpful people there.

I would certainly be willing to fly off to Cozumel again, but the last time I was interested, a Category 5 hurricane parked over the area for a few days. Now I hear that Mick will be visible in a bathing suit. Skeeery stuff! |

That problem was worked out long ago by the Old Wise Ones. You dive early in the morning, and then drink in the evening (but not too much).

I know just enough Spanish to be dangerous.

Sorry. Photos are great, but I draw the line at watching home movies. I don't even watch my own. :D

Real men aren't afraid of a little wind unless it comes out of someone's butt.

It's not that the wind is blowing that gets ya, it's WHAT the wind is blowing.

It would indeed, but y'know.. I'm just not a brown ribbon kinda guy. I'm tempted to hide that slide slow as a favor to members who might be justifiably upset. Dammit. |

It's obvious that you no nothing of true art. If you pay attention, then some day you too could win a ribbon. :)

Bob is seriously good, isn't he? I'd love to dive with him some day. BTW, he was using a P&S camera without a strobe.
