How do I synchronize my Boling light?
When I use my D70 flash, the Boling goes off (wireless) but either too late or too early because it doesn't help light my images in the dark. I have a cable that supposed to be plugged in the light as well as the camera but i don't know where into the camera it goes :( Can someone help?

What is a boling light?
If it's some type of strobe, and it's not tied into the camera's eTTL system, then you need to put the camera in MANUAL mode, with a shutter speed of 1/125 and use the aperture to adjust the exposure.
The on-camera flash may have to be in manual as well, and should be anyway.
I beleive the fastest shutter speed you're Nikon can sync to a strobe with is 1/500, but studio strobe companies recomend 1/125 - it takes tome for the flash to get the word to fire, and then most studio strobes take a long time to let their light out - 1/800 of second, sometimes slower, so you're shutter need to be open long enough for all this to happen.
Your eTTL system sees only the on-camera flash and is is trying to use that light along (or with the ambient light if in Av mode)to properly expose the scene. By putting everything in Manual mode YOU become the controller of how it all comes together - this is why when using studo strobes a flash meter is almost mandatory.

Your other flash is being triggered by your D70's pre-flash, so it's going off too early. I *think* the way to get around this is to put your camera's flash into manual mode. |

so on my flash is set on ttl now and I need to put it on manual then? Sounds doable.
HOw about sychronizing my Boling to my SB 600. will that work?
Edit: as in can these two things work together?
