I've noticed that some people who don't have any challenge entries in their profile, do have an average vote received. Is that because they have an entry in voting? How do they have average votes received without any entries?

Ursula, I'll send you examples in a PM. I don't want to call out anyone in public if its not just some glitch. I just wondered if anyone else had noticed people with this. Thanks.

I could be wrong, but since the average scores are now "real time," they probably have a first entry in a current challenge and you're seeing the score they're getting on that entry, even though the photo won't appear in their portfolio until after voting ends.

I have seen this also. Probably just a new user or member entering their first challenge.

Mystery solved by the incredible investigative powers of Ursula. :D

What telehubbie said is indeed the case. It looks like users may now have a free update on demand for their very first challenge entries, by checking their profiles. Although I'm not sure how often those averages update. Is it every time you load the profile? or once an hour? or a couple times a week? So, maybe its not like having an update button. Anyway, now we know.

edit: oops looks like I missed out on breaking the news, lol.
