I am preparing a slide show for a nightclub to show on the projector. Last time I did a slide show, I change the image size to 640. Anyone have any possible suggestion on how to make a good quality slide show. |

A projector is like a small computer screen. Find out what the projector resolution is (most likely 800x600)and make your slides to fit. Anything larger is just a waste of space. |

What's worse, a size mismatch means that you're relying on the projector's interpolation algorithm. |

Whether interpolation happens or not depends on what software is being used to present the slideshow.
I created an avi version of a slideshow and showed it through Windows Media Player with no problem. The images were smaller than the projector's resolution and were not resized to fit.
Apparently, DVD format is different and the images will be resized. As has already been mentioned, letting the projector do the resizing is not a good idea. |
