Hello all,

I bought my d200 about a month ago, I am having some issues with my white balance. Every time I measure it with a Gray or white Ref card (in the studio, outside, indoors same issue), I am getting a yellow color cast, I know many of you here own the 200, was wondering if you experienced the same problem if yes how did you resolve it. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't have this problem because I shoot RAW..which allows you set color balance in post-processing, taking away a lot of hassle in my mind.

:) I should better explain myself, I have a successful VOIP business, but photography been my passion, so since financially I am secured I figured I'll follow my passion. So I enrolled in a 2 year Photography Program (at nights) just to learn the trade properly. So in the studio the teach wants us to properly white balance and capture images properly from get go. I shoot raw as well but pre-processing my images have a yellow colorcast. these days I cheat by using the Kelvin settings, regardless the camera should do the job properly, so just wondering if you guys have this issue as well

What is your lighting condition when you set your Custom WB using a gray card?

I know this isn't helpful, but when I shoot on auto white balance with my D200, I get perfect results nearly every time.

It does that with pretty much all conditions, but in the studio I HAVE to shoot with tungsten lights.

toohip--> It's true with the auto, that makes this situation even worse :)
