OK. So my wife and I finally came up with an idea for a "professional" logo for my photography. I am shooting occasionally for people and I wanted/needed to get something lined up to start a page, business cards, copyright statements, disc labels, etc. Here it is:

Now, I'm a bit inexperienced with this sort of thing, but I know what options are available out there for me to use. I created the logo in photoshop, applied the colors individually, as well as the layer styles. How do I make it all a vector based graphic so that I can easily recreate it over and over again at different sizes, smaller and larger, and maintain the quality and original colors and styles? I've read about Illustrator, but have no idea if that is what I need to do, or how to do it if it is. Does anyone have experience in this area?

Photoshop is Raster based so if it is almost all text your fine, but when resizing everything else withh pixelate. Do you have illustrator? if so use that, so you can resample it to whatever size you want and everything will be vector so no quality is lost.

Nice, but remember that you could not possibly use this with a single colour. It becomes unreadable when printed in pure black, for example.
