What?????
That totally sucks!

I love CS3, but when the filters I have do not work it just suxxx!

It is a problem with the third party filters. The compatibility with CS3 doesn't work as with CS2. I heard that Nik for example is working on it as we speak.

WTF?
Adobe is shifting towards the Microsoft approach. :( Fuck our customers, do as we do or fuck you. I really want to get a Mac now and no MS or Adobe at all.

Really? I have Nik Sharpener Pro installed with no problems. I also have Photomatix, Neatimage, Lucis Arts and Virtual Photographer also working flawlessly. That's all I have installed now but everything has worked so far.

Have you tried the Nik Color Efex?

No. Seems weird one of their products would work but not the other and I have the older version of Sharper Pro not version 2.

Have several plug-ins installed as well and haven't had a single issue yet. Also not had any issues between CS3 and CS2 as described

Glad to hear that the compatibility is not really all that widespread. I'm sure that they will get things worked out for the final version.

Oh and for those wondering, yeah, I'm running a Beta version. Got a friend who does some pro magazine work that had their fill with playing with something... ;) Too bad they are going to stick with CS2 for a while.. Would love to make a donation to get in cheap under a multiple user licence ;)

If it's anything like the Beta, the full suite will kick kiesters... I'm just loving having the ability to use CS2 features that I couldn't use before because of A: Expense and B: tooooooo slow... I don't use a lot of them, but I like the use of smart adjustment layers and the upsizing... This CS3 B&W thing is the Bee's Cats!
