I have noticed many people talking about their mini studios, but I have one quick question, what do you use for back grounds?

| You can use almost anything. Paper, plastic, fabric. All depends on the look you are going for. |

Yup - use what ever you like and textures that compliment what you are taking pictures of.
To give you some ideas. Personally, I have normal back ground paper from the camera shop here in town and also different color poster boards/foam boards from the art supply store. I also have started collecting different material to use as backgrounds... a piece of slate, marbel, saw dust, sand and other unique texture items. Basically anything that catches my eye and is cheap. One background that I found and often go back to is rock salt, just spread a layer in a cookie sheet and snap away.
