I am in the process of building a website, but I am having trouble coming up with a name; I thought about using "Blackmon Photography" but that seem kind of generic. I am wanting something that is unique and memorable, however I am having trouble coming up with anything.
So, if anybody has any ideas please post them here.
Thanks,
Matt.

IshootPeople&smoke.com? :D
Ok maybe not...I like the mattblack.com idea, simple, clean easy to remember of course there is a Matt Black on deviantart but I don't know if that would matter.
I used my initials (www.sabphotography.com)because there is another (but MUCH better) photographer named Scott Bacon, also strange that he is in Colorado where I was born...but as the mower said, I degrass (sorry couldn't resist).
Have you tried to go those sites where you purchase your name and see what's available first? Good luck. |

mattblack is taken, as is mblackphoto/photography and mbphoto. I had thought of using my initials however they are MOB and I thought that might sent the wrong message. :) Another idea was nomkcalb (my screen name on flickr among other places) however I'm not sure how well that would work, as its kind of hard to pronounce.

I personally think you should go with your name. It's who you are. Your work will be what's memorable, not some catchy name. And you do good work. |

yup, that's what I did. I don't have any website for now but I'm working on it. I still bought www.yannricher.com already though. |
