Hey,
I have a Vivitar 1900 External flash, and I'm wondering if any of you know if this flash will work with my G5? I can't seem to get it working .. it doesn't make sense .. and seeing that to get a canon flash it would cost me about $400 - any help would be great! |

The 420EX is very highly regarded by other G5 owners and it seems to run about $170 or so. I don't have one, yet...
As I understand it, the flash will work, you just won't get E-TTL or TTL.
