I went to a church today to snap some shots for their website.
And here's the result
I wanted a ligth airy feel to the images but ligthing was horrible, I had to use iso 800 and maximum aparture all of the time.
A few pointer and tips on how to do this better would be appriciated.
removed the link because of bandwith issues ;)

These look great, I love black and white. I love how good you put the blur behind the prayer book. Great shots.

While these are all excellent, if you hadn't said so, I never would have guess these shots were at a church. The people shots (again are awesome) are tight-ish crops, which isolates the subject well, but doesn't show "church environment".
Still ... great images! |

That's because the curch is located in a smallish office building, it's quite new (they split the church districts a few years ago) and it's expensive to build churches. |

What a beautiful set of photos... really very intimate and lovely. These pictures say a lot about these people, which is probably what you wanted. Fantastic. I particularly like the first set, and especially like the very first photo, the coffee cups, the first portrait of the priest, and the priest reading with the young woman. |

Yes, very lovely group of photos. It looks very "film like" (nice grain NOT NOISE) for lack of a better term....I especially like the baby shots. |

thank you.
I was very worried about the noise ruining the photos, I had to overexpose them 2-2.7 stops in lightroom to get them like viewable.
