You had your hands full with the kids...much braver than I am, can't imagine trying to get any photos with our group of youngsters around! BTW - Did you see the couple hiking the trail and the dad had a backpack with the kid in it? Talk about being in shape!!! Yikes!

I'm not brave, I'm just acclimated. :) I've embraced the chaos. That and I'm used to doing just about everything around the house with anywhere from 4 to 8 kids around at any given time (when my husbands ex needs me to watch the foster-babes) so hiking with four kids that are out of diapers feels like a holiday. LOL

I promise I'll post more! I'm up to my eyeballs in processing a couple of paid gigs at the moment, but I'll have them up soon. Jonjon did get a few too! He got wrapped up in the idea of panning for gold though, and kind of wandered off in his own thoughts about 1/4 of the way in. The entire remainder of the camping trip became all about him finding new and original ways of filtering sand. Chase desperately wanted to take a few shots, but seeing as he was the very first one to fall in (as expected) and continued to find himself underwater the rest of the day...

I wasn't about him to hand him the D200 even if my life depended on it. :)

YES! I saw that family, the Dad asked us to "pep talk" the little girl in the pack who wanted to go back! Funny, as she was the one who was getting the ride. :) We chatted with them a bit and gushed about the falls in hopes of getting her excited. Not only in shape, but immensely patient to have a grumping child grumbling in his ear the whole way. :)

And definitely, another get together would be awesome. I'll plan it so that I can actually HANG out with you guys more next time. :)
