Here is one of my first pictures with my new Nikon. I am just getting to know the camera so go easy.

Bump, I know it is not great but I am happy as this camera will blurr backgounds 10x better than my Fuji.

| Congrats on the new camera! You'll have a blast with it, I'm sure. Is that pretty much straight from the camera? For that shot, you may want to crop to get the bird as more of the focus of attention - should have plenty of pixels to do so. And yes, good blur on the background. Keep shooting and posting! |

Congrats - Nice blurry background - good to see that it looks sharp and clean at the corners - I have considered to buy a D80 my self.
Have you croped the image or is it straight from the camera.

This is strait from the camera. I will try a crop tonight. Thanks for the comments.
