My entry is going to be just a regular picture. I'm just going to adjust the time on my camera to next week. Then if I get called on it I will just say that I am meeting the challenge.
Of course I don't think that would fly...
=)

is this like a juxtaposition of sorts... I don't get it? |

As far as I understand it, it's like someone or something from the past, like 1400's, in current day setting, like in a car.
Or like a current day item or person transported in time back to another era.
But, I may be completely off the mark, just how I understand it. |

The example my English teacher gave was the crowd in the move "A Knights Tale" singing "We Will Rock You"
"An anachronism is something that seems to be misplaced in time with respect to its environment. This week, capture your best representation of an anachronism."
Soooo think a car from the 30's cruisin down the highway today or the opposite... a car from 2007 cruisin down the streets in the 30s. It just doesn't seem to fit time-wise.

If I break down the word it sort of helps
"an" - being opposed to, opposite, anti
"chrono" - as in chronology, chronological, time...
So something out of synch in terms of time, history, chronological order...? |

There are plenty of museums around, so if I just put my cell phone in the shot, Walla. Can it be that simple?

Your cell/phone monastery is a good example. I'm reminded of a traveller I know who was surprised when a Swiss farm lady in traditional garb, who was giving a tour of her dairy barn, suddenly got a phone call and pulled a cell phone out of her apron pocket.
I'm also reminded of something I read once about the movie "Hair." The movie was set in the 1960s. They had to cut one scene completely because the World Trade Center was visible in the background.
