Challenge: Nude in Color
Description: No sepia, no B&W, we want full color, artistic nudes.

I would love it also could it be a open challenge as all the nudes challenges have been members only

lol...open challenge with the minimal ruleset.

Ouch...the human body is a beautiful thing but sometimes a little Photoshop help is necessary.

Its only $25. Skip fast food 4 times or Starbuck's 5 and your golden. I don't think that $2 a month is too much to ask of anyone. Besides, the number of entries in the open challenges are getting bigger and bigger to the point that voting is beginning to be a hassle.

I shoot nudes for a living. This site like many others don't have the b_lls to respect the beauty of the body. People are too hung-up ! Hey, keep in your churchs will ya !

Is your screen name pronounced "ass shooter"? ;-)

I agree with you, but I gave up on that argument.

i'd say you're hung up... beauty is in the eye of the beholder. what you see as beautiful - which isn't apparent by your profile - may not be what everyone does. i'd say that most of the results of the previous 'nude' challenges have respected the beauty of the human form. a few have not.

I agree.. Plus, someone has to support the site.. There are enough open challenges as it is. Find a way to slip an artistic nude picture into one of the other challenges. If you haven't noticed, members are the only ones who ever ribbon. This is because they know what they are doing. Rather than making people vomit all over their keyboards, they can turn a "smut" image into a work of art. I'm not saying gray people can't do that, but generally those truely dedicated to the site and the work it promotes pay to use it. I don't know.. I just have a feeling that an open nude challenge would turn into a festival for perverts who wanna show off their stuff.

Actually, it may not seem like a lot but there have been times in my life, and I know I am not alone, that $2 a month would have been a very serious consideration.

edit: I'm not trying to say this because I support having a non-member-only nude challenge. I don't think I do support it at all. But I think other arguments against it are stronger.

But I do think as a society we're too used to seeing the airbrushed perfect body thing yeah okay I'm going to stop rambling because I'm way too tired to talk at this point :-)
