Hi there!

Justo to share this everyone and hopping to have some feedback also.

I like to photograph concerts. I often photograph for a band of friends of mine.

Technically I don't encount any major issues. But one thing just cracks my head: It's white balance.

So I'll tell you my storie and hope you contribute with yours.

I always (most of the times) shoot with auto WB. I'm use to correct the WB in RSPremium. Well when I get home and start correcting it I always have one doubt: Should I stick with a WB that shows the lightning of the scene in that moment, or in other hand should I corrct the WB in order to have the correct colors of my subject?

Does this make sense to you and if so what do you do?

I've heard of a couple of guys that they choose a fixed wb (like daylight or flash) and thereby all the photos will have the same wb influence, because due to the colorfull nature of this kind of linghtning it will be contantly changing. Do you agree?

Ya, I'd think about going with daylight or something around there and letting the colors fall where they may. That would probably be the best if you are batching them. Otherwise, on individual shots, I'd balance them (assuming you are shooting RAW) to taste and forget what "reality" was.
