On the upside the average person can figure out that your website is at keithcantrellphoto.com. |

Someone posted recently that Mpix is having a sale on double sided photo business cards for something like $5.00 per hundred if I remember correctly. I believe that the sale is running through the end of the month.
You are only showing one side leading me to believe that you didn't take advantage of this double sided card sale. Since you forgot to put your website on your business cards, it might not hurt too bad to rework your cards and get some made up that are two-sided also for a good price. |

Nice cards! Like someone else said - they should be able to figure it out from your email addy.
Lorain eh? Nice area. I'm here in Fremont. Good luck with your biz!

sorry ... but I assume you post this here for an opinion ...
I LOVE the concept but HATE the diagonal ragged cut edges of what seems to be pasted together ...
If you did that on purpose ... I really DO think that most people would think that it is just lack of expertise.
as I said ... sorry ... but ... It is only ONE man's opinion ... mine.

I ALSO don't understand why the main stone (in the ring) is WAY pushed left ... is this an asymetrical (sp?) setting that is meant to sit like that?

haha... Ya I was going for the multiple cards on the bed card look... hehe... thanks for the comments guys - I wasn't sure how they would come out so I kinda rushed it a little so I could spend less money just to see how their quality was before I placed a larger order - I spent more time with there somehwat clunky software than anything else. The ring is an older picture that I use on my website - I actually shot it with my old Cannon g6 (may it rest in peace). The ring is a little tilted on her finger and the picture they recreated wasn't exactly what I submitted, but pretty close.
Over all I'm happy with what I got and will be putting more effort into the next batch.
btw... I am still a bonehead at the end of every day ButterflySis. |

noisemaker and anyone else trying the mpix software:
I dunno if you figured the mpix software out yet, but I would suggest setting it up in photoshop with the image and text - once you have what you want resize your image to about 2.25 x 3.75" save as a jpg then transfer the image to mpix's software... there you should make it full size, but some clipping will occur so try to play with it in PS to get everything you need on the card. Also - every time you swap out a picture to resize and try again - you should restart the program... I don't think it updates live. So for example: You're image is clipped too much so you change it in PS and then refind the new saved image and reload it into mpix - it really doesnt reload the newly saved one - it loads the cached version which is the original - so you have to close out the program after every tweak from photoshop - it took me about 2 hours to get it right and I had to sacrifice a red line border that I wanted, but didn't feel like tweaking for another hour - AND - amidst the confuzzlement, forgot to put my fucken website on it! Oh well - only "wasted" $16 - but its still something to give to people when I talk about my business. If they can't figure it out on their own then they're not too smart. All in all I'm happy about it. |

Haha, life does happen. I was pretty confident until i got them in the mail. First, the webpage wasent my homepage, and second, the link dosent even work! It was some weird page that i had of like 3 photo's of SHIRTS...that i had designed. What i was smoking? Im not entirely sure to tell you the truth! I'm thinking of ordering some new ones..haha.
This is the close up of it:
And this was just for kicks, haha:
