I was browsing though some of my pictures from last month and came across this:
After quite a bit of photoshop it now looks like this:
So, what do you all think? does it look good or did I go to far?

I would do a noise reduction - other than that looks great. |

I like the noise...what is that black blob in the back...that's a bit distracting. I like it alright. |

I like the colors and the grainy quality of the image. The person in the background, with your edit, becomes more of a distraction. Either clone it out, or get the detail back.

I think the post processing is very well done. You took a bland looking image and made it look really good without going too far, IMO. The grain (noise) is great. I definitely wouldn't remove it. I'm torn about the figure in the background. It is kind of awkward and distracting, but at the same time it adds some interest to the photo. |

The processing is great, I too, love the grain. Of the two you've shown, I prefer the image without the black blob. But in the original, the couple in the background added interest. Is there any way to bring them back without turning them into a blob?
