I had a really fun time with the Literalism challenge - coming up with ideas, seeing everyone else's shots. Here are two other literalisms I considered before entering Dim Bulb. Any comments? Did anyone else have other ideas than the one they entered?

I read your comments on Forbidden Fruit and I would have given that one a 10 just because of the reference to Setzler's! The cat out of the bag is also very well done.

Your literalism was one I'd never heard before, do you know where it comes from? It makes sense and is very visual. You describe it as idea #707, what were the other 706?

I put the meaning in the title, that was probably a mistake but I remember hearing that saying when I was growing up. I think it comes from the old days when you would go in the general store and pay up front for something and there were barrels everywhere and money would get put on the barrel head!

I tried so many different things, Many hands make light work, two left feet, Dog day afternoon, 6 of one 1/2 dozen of another (I had written the number 1 six times and the word another 6 times) and looked at lots of other options but my barrel head was done the last night with little prep time, the printed version is cleaner, more balanced and edited better. :)
