What's a good way to go about locating someone in England? I have an old address, but I'm pretty sure it's no longer accurate... Is there a good, whitepages sort of website someone could recommend? Or another method?...
(I'm trying to find my 6th grade teacher) lol. |

Friends Reunited is a popular site for getting back in touch with old school friends, so I would prolly start there. You do have to pay to contact people though.

Go to Yahoo.uk and use the People finder.

I couldn't find a people search function on yahoo.co.uk, and my school isn't going to be in the friendsunited.co.uk network... I went to a small private school in Eastern Europe. Hmmm... |

Send a letter to the old address. British postman (unlike their US counterparts) more often than not find the person even if they have moved. The letter will probably be forwarded, if not returned. You lose a dollar or so in trying... |

It's worth a shot anyway. Failing that, try and get hold of an online phone directory for the UK. What was the last address? London? South Coast? |

Actually, even in rural parts of the US, this still happens. ;) |

LOL. Here in New Orleans, if you miss a number or letter... too bad for you... |

I guess it just doesn't happen in NYC then. The post office here really is abysmal. By that I mean the carriers and window people are excellent but the managers, who one never ever sees these days because they all have their faces stuck in computers, are exceedingly inefficient.... |

West Yorkshire does sound OK. I reckon you stand a good chance with the mail up there. |
