I am curious to know how you believe this image would do in the spinning challenge, and your critique in general...

sorry for directly posting the picture.

I was not interested in submitting the picture for the challenge as it was taken a day before the starting date but rather I was trying to get a feel for how it might have done so that I would have something to go on in the future.

Thank you

That, plus it's a big large for forum posting anyway (max 500 px). :D

Forum Rule #5: "Please do not post large images directly to the forums. When posting images to the forums, be aware that some readers access the site via dial-up, and that in some countries, Internet access is charged per KB downloaded. With this in mind, images larger than about 30K, or more than 500 pixels in either dimension, should be posted as links or thumbnails."

FWIW, you can't enter it after making it public pre-challenge, but honestly I would give it a 4. It meets the challenge IMHO, but that's where it stops... lacks visual appeal and the background is far too busy.

Technically, you could enter this in the challenge still...

... however, I agree with the technical merits of the image.

I agree that that particular image would not do particularly well, but I think you've got a good idea there that could convey the idea of spinning movement pretty well. I could see how a lower angle, with maybe some bags moving around and people jostling to get them off the conveyer could work for this challenge.
