Hi all -
I would really love to see what other people do with this shot:

This is what I entered in the Circle II challenge:

I took so many shots, trying to get a good composition/crop.. it was hard to choose which one to enter and I'm still not sure I made the best decision (but I really don't think it would have mattered so much).

I really liked being able to bring out the reddish tones and provide more contrast - but something about the final result makes me feel like the image isn't living up to its full potential.

I can email anyone the original file if they want.

edit: My editing steps were levels, hue/sat, and selective color adjustment layers with, I think, no masks, as well as a slight rotate and crop.

Ok I messed around with it all night, this is what I came up with:

mobster: I like how that draws attention to the center word.
Southern Gentleman: I had never thought of duotone - seems to really work for this image.

Your welcome, glad I could be of help.
One thing I liked was when rotated to level the center writing the circles turned into an elliptical illusion.
