I have my first shoot tonight with a recording studio that's hired me to shoot their artists! Woohoo! But it's suppose to rain and some of the shots will be outdoors. I'm not worried about my lenses but will the camera be ok if it's raining? Thanks! |

Don't go out in the rain without this or this.

Well, you're in the NW, like me. It rains. The old plastic-bag-and-a-towel trick is just too flimsy up here. |

lol, plastic bag and towel. :) Yeah, I can't wait until summer so I can stop worrying about the rain for awhile. |

I've been thinking about one of those, too. Portland's just too wet to do anything in during the winter without it. I braved my camera in the rain once or twice, but it scared the hell out of me. :p |

ive taken my 20d into pouring rain for like 30 min, wheni got inside just put camera into a freezer bag for like 15 min then dried it off and it's fine. |

What did the freezer bag do? |

protects camera from condensation when bringing back into warmer area. when its in the bag the condensation go's around the bag, without the bag it would go into the mechanics of the camera |
