so im in Edmonton right now and i got me and my dad tickets to go see the canucks vs. oilers game tonight. Im excited i havent been to a game in forever and my dad has never been to a NHL game! Edmonton has been ona 10 game losing streak and Canucks are amazing as always. So odds are good for me!!
But do you think me sporting my canucks jersey at Rexall Place(Oilers stadium) will get me beat up?

Since the Oilers are not in this (they've already missed the playoffs), Go Canucks Go.

Nah, they'll just drown you out. (Maybe not, going by recent events. Rexall may not even be full for the game.)

I'm a Rangers/Stars fan if that helps. Looks like the Stars may face the Cannucks in the first round. Bad news for the Cannucks.

I've never heard of Edmonton fans being violent ... but then again, I've never been there either! Try being a Wings fan w/ a jersey on and going to see a game in Denver (ingredients for a fight) !!! Have a great time at the game!

Edmonton has no hope, as they continue their "dive for the top five [draft pick]"

Too bad mitchell and salo are both out, wouldve been a good night to give bobby lou some rest. Ah well, GO CANUCKS GO!

Bieksa will have to come up. but hes turned into a great offense defencmen. id say it will be Sopel and Ohlund and Bieksa alternating top line tonight.

and i want to see Cowen the "Brabarian" make something happen!

Bad news that they'd burn down like an ant against a little kid with a magnifying glass!

yeah Oilers and Canucks have become quite the rivals. im guessing there will be at least 2 fights and the 2 people will be Bieksa in one and Cowen in the other

Theres no chance bieksa fights tonight, with 2 dmen out of the lineup.

We Oiler fans just feel pity for Canuckleheads. :)

Seriously though, no one should give you too much of a hard time. The fans know how bad the team is right now and should at least be looking for a team to root for during the playoffs.

I've worn a Flames jersery in Rexall a few times - if that doesn't start a riot, nothing will.

I won't dis the 'Nucks just yet...Until they meet up with Calgary I'm still cheering for them.

Ha. Well the head to head matchups this season have been close but naturally the Stars have the edge there. I think they will need a stronger magnifying glass. :P

The only pity that Oilers fans have right now is self-pity. And pity for Donald Trump since he doesn't have Ryan Smyth's flowing locks. (I photoshopped Ryan's hair on the Donald's head when I heard about the trade and I'd like to see other's results of the same).

lol
