So I had a little fun last weekend and shot the same subject for 2 different challenges. Its funny how differently they scored but I really like them together as a pair.

I think you processed the circle shot much too darkly. The texture of the wood is competing in a bad way with the texture of the grass and the dark is muddying up the two.

Thanks, Jason. A lot of people don't like my darker (moody) shots, and that's okay. I shot that with a Cokin filter which toned down all of the colors - giving that "muddy" colors look. I need to experiment a bit more with that particular filter.

I just loved the water shot ... gave it a '9' (thought it would ribbon) but didn't make the connection that it was the same clock in the circle challenge ... that one didn't work for me as well ... I'll agree w/ DrAchoo that it looked a bit too dark ... ended up giving it a 6 ...
