Ok onar, I'll switch to sending positive vibes...it wasn't working anyway. I'll just have to upload a second copy of Mary and have it in my portfolio. (Assuming that it doesn't take a nose dive which my photos tend to do!).

Good luck to all this weekend shooting. I tried to shoot some Dr. Seuss yesterday, but it is going to be harder than I thought! Gotta rethink my approach.

Sunny sunday morning here.

I'm a kinda frustrated this week..
since there seem no cultural and sport events happening here.

@ Jason,
I didn't count the team average for the previous week since I thought
we took a break before the tournament begins.

Next week, it's registrating week for team to join tournament.

Jason, would you mind helping me to explain "when and how" the registrating procedures to all team members please? :)

If I'm lucky I won't dip below 5.7 at the rate I'm going. Friday it was at 6.03...oh, those were the days!

I was planning to go shoot my Dr. Seuss this morning...but, of course the weather does not seem to want to cooperate. Oui!

Here is my understanding of the team creation part. When the DPL season is announced (supposed to be tomorrow) teams from last season will be able to create their teams the first two days (this is called the invitation period). So we should be able to create our team on Wednesday.

The team can be created by any team member, not just the captain. Whoever sees the announcement first can create the team which will be done as follows:

1. name the team
DPC7
2. upload our logo

3. invite all team members by typing in their usernames.

Once the team is saved, invitation emails will be sent out to all team members. At least 4 team members will need to accept the invitation in order for the team to be "finalized" and reserve a spot in the next season.

I doubt the announcement will be made at midnight US time, it will probably be in the morning, but that is just a guess.

Anyone else have any additional information that I missed here? We all need to be ready wednesday to respond to the invitation emails.

I know how you feel Terri! I've had several finish at 5.9 after being in the low 6's all week. The good news is that normaly your score will go up a few 10ths the last day and then after voting is closed the vote "scrubber" will get rid of all the "troll" votes and any votes from people that didn't vote the minimum 20%.

Mine has come down a little too. Symmetry was actually at 6.7 for a brief moment last night.

I just saw the announcement on the front page:

DPL Season 1 - May 6th
The first season DPL launches tonight. Read more here.

It says it may be announced as early as this evening!

I just created our team! It never asked if were were a WPL 4 team so I went ahead and signed us up. We will need to get the captain changed to Freda. You should all receive your confirmation emails soon.

Yes, you are listed on the team page as "accepted". I'm sorry you had a bad day Onar and hope it gets better for you!. Terri has also accepted. We need 2 more to respond! There are 33 teams created and 17 finalized. We need to try and get our team finalized in the first 24 so we are assured a spot. Freda, wake up! LOL

Don't worry Terri, there is still plenty of time for it to come up! I just saw the cover challenge...ideas are endless on that I guess, which will probably make it a difficult challenge!

I just looked at the teams that have registered for league...ours is by far the coolest logo!! I think that means that were not only the coolest...but, that were going to win, right???!!!

I know my Seuss score will probably go up some...my very first vote was an 8...but, it was down hill from there. I had great hope for a moment!

Freda has a lot of life changes coming up...lots to do. If she feels that Jason should take the reins, then I will agree with her decision.
