That was a 70-200 f/4L... through a double-pane window in my office.

Around here, they usually have more blue on the wings, but looking at it again, I'm even more sure now that is an Eastern Bluebird.

I cant find what this is, I agree the eastern blue is closet but i took the shot here in southern california. Could it be?

Taken two years ago at Savill Gardens, Berkshire, UK. A Jackdaw.

Checked all my 2007 bird shots and I don't have any Tits. Here is a Red Tail I got the other day though.

Both shots are really nice. My favorite heron/egret is the reddish, yours is right on. I love the way they run down fish at full speed across the estuary. Van

Somehow, I manage to be able to get in situations where I can get closeup shots of birds and other animals. To see more, check out my wildlife portfolio .
