when I submit an image for the contest often I see that the image on the web have flat colours. I have this problem also in the colour portrait contest where the effect is most dramatic. Do you know a solution for this problem?
find the solution: Convert To sRGB Color Space ......

It might be useful to say what you are viewing the images on, and what you are comparing it to. If you view a jpg on your own computer, then submit it, it should look exactly the same. If it looks different in a particular application (such as photoshop), then possibly photoshop has been calibrated to show the colours differently. If it shows different in a print, well, yes it will. My photos look different every time I get them printed - always small variations in the developer's equipement, and different shops and printers will have varying results. |
